I spent a week in Minnesota at Burntside Lodge. Most of the day was spent fishing the interconnected lakes. However, the mood of the lakes changed daily and gave me the most wonderful variety of color and emotion. 2:30 am I had the aurora. 6:30 am I had the magical mist. After an 40 minutes of constant shooting, running up and down the shore to capture the same scenes in the changing light, I was convinced that I only had to stand in one spot and shoot 100 frames and I would still end up with 100 different images. It was an incredible week.
Most of these images have only basic processing. The colors are true to the natural colors at the time the image was captured. The black and white images were not individually processed so further adjustment in photoshop will really bring out the full beauty of those images. Enjoy!
